To coincide with the 25th Anniversary Conference, the CLA is organising an essay competition for law students across the Caribbean. The first prize is attendance at the conference, including registration, travel and accommodation.

The subject of the essay competition is:

“The Universal Declaration of Hufman Rights is the only significant statement of
principle that has commended worldwide respect”

The winner will be informed by August 30, 2008.

Eligibility: Participants must be Caribbean students enrolled in 2008 in an institution of professional legal training or university law faculty in the Commonwealth.
